Boundary Waters Canoe Trips

I’ve always wanted to do a canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area is a 1 million acre canoe area located in the Superior National Forest, and just like the Adirondacks, a great portion of the Boundary Waters Area is resticted to non-motorized boats only. The park contains over 1,000 miles of canoe routes and portages and 400,000 acres of old growth forest.

While it may be too late in the paddling season to plan a trip to the Boundary Waters for this year, there is plenty of time to plan a trip for next year.
